At ScarboroSmiles, we follow the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) fee guide when setting our prices. The ODA publishes this guide every year as a reference for dental practices across the province.
Because every patient has unique dental needs, your treatment plan may include one or more procedures from the fee guide. While dental clinics aren't required to follow the guide exactly, we've made a commitment to charge no more than the suggested fee for general procedures.
For specialized procedures, our fees may be higher to reflect the advanced training, expertise, and technology we bring to your care. Dental Insurance
At ScarboroSmiles, we offer direct insurance billing to major dental insurance providers. This means we submit your insurance claim to the insurance company on your behalf, so you don't have to worry about the paperwork (nice!).
With direct billing, you'll pay your portion of the treatment cost at the time of your appointment—such as your deductible or any amount not covered by your plan. We handle the rest with your insurance company directly.
